As any successful person will attest, sometimes being in the right place at the right time is all that matters. Or as Thomas Jefferson once said, “I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.” That is the essence of our short story about lightning striking twice.
One day, I received a call from Graham Windham, a leading innovator in providing support for children and families in the NYC area, inquiring if we had any furniture we could donate to help furnish a new space they were outfitting. We had a project coming up in the following days, and to my great surprise, the amenities were a perfect fit. A win-win in anyone’s book!
Months go by, and again Graham Windham asks if we have furniture for another location. As luck would have it, we had an upcoming project that fit perfectly, and within 5 days the new space was furnished.
If good things come in 3’s, I expect to hear from them again!!
