When Bessemer Trust was tasked with liquidating their almost 300K SF space at Rockefeller Center in the most environmentally friendly fashion attainable, the only choice was to bring in GOL!
Our team dispatched the project in less than 4 weeks, while assuring that not one item was sent to a landfill or tipping station. The approximate 400 tons of furnishings were allocated in the following manner.
Donations to Habitat For Humanity – 39 Tons
LEED Recycled (Cooper Recycling Brooklyn NY) – 216 Tons
Resale Credits – 11 Tons
Precious Metals Recycling Credit – 134 Tons
Bessemer was so pleased with our performance that they subsequently awarded us a national project where we recycle all their old technology from their 20 offices scattered throughout the US.
