What The Eclipse Tells Us About Being Green

It is estimated that almost 1 billion people across the globe watched the eclipse, whether in person, online, on television, or live streaming.

Regardless of your religious beliefs, ethnicity, native country or domicile, its clear the event touched almost all of us in some way shape or form.  Whether you believe in evolution, the big bang theory, creation by a higher power or any other doctrines it would be hard to deny the beauty and incredible interconnectivity of the cosmos.

Is it by accident or divine intervention that the moon and sun which are almost 93 million miles apart come together in this cosmic dance? I will leave that for greater mind to ponder, but one thing is clear.

Eclipses can garner significant public attention and serve as opportunities to educate people about astronomy, natural phenomena, and the importance of protecting the environment. This increased awareness can contribute to broader discussions about sustainability.

As the old expression goes, think globally, act locally.
